First Chakra Oracle Card Reading

This first chakra oracle card reading has been a long time coming for me. Yes I have done individual chakra readings for myself and others but this would be the first general audience one. It needed to wait until after this most recent full moon energy and today the 242 sequence seems equally important (see below for one description of its meaning).

There are many details and descriptions about the chakras available. For me, my quick reference for the Root Chakra is “I Am”, about survival, security, safety, and Mother Earth energy coming to you. Transformation

Much of the struggle you are experiencing at this time is from the need and the desire to continue regular human life while being in the cocoon stage. In this way the caterpillar to butterfly has an easier time – they focus all energies on the transformation towards that one driving goal. You are experiencing the transformation at the same time as managing a home, being with family, deciphering work life, seeking personal life enjoyment, feeding, cleaning, helping others, increasing knowledge, as well as “being”. Is it any wonder you have moments when you feel overwhelmed and tired? Take a breather here and now for a few instances.

Picture yourself deep and safe in the cocoon the universe is offering you. Feel its warmth, feel its security, feel its opportunity, feel its perfect balance. Know you are within this space of cocoon… What colour is it for you? What sounds do you hear inside perhaps from your own being? What sounds do you hear from outside gently reminding you that there is a big picture out there? What feeling is residing in your heart and radiating to your whole body and the space you are in? Breathe… Now from this safe peaceful space, picture the transformation that is calling you, it is calling to you as well as coming from within you. You may not know all the details yet but there is something you feel, picture, or know that you can grab onto… This is the start of the why of you transforming and why you will continue your efforts towards breaking out and living the next dynamic phase of your existence. All that is good and true supports you, feel this in our cocoon and know it is there always as you transform.
